Thank you very much for sharing. These videos are very beneficial – in every one there are some things helping me to improve my form.
Thanks also to all the other students and to Paul for all the recording work !
Best wishes and hope to see you all again one time,
Michael

BTW: The first one doesn’t work (displays “The requested video is not found” message…)
A very good idea to provide this set of Yilu corrections with different students. I can recommend it a lot. For me in every one of the videos there are lot’s of interessting points that help me to improve my own form.

Watch the first 4 minutes of “Alex Renwisk Yilu Dec. 1, 2010 in Edmonton, Canada” to better understand “Don’t move your hand”.

Thank Carlos for making this comment. ” Alex Renwisk Yilu Dec 1 2010 ”
1.25 to 4.10 Anyone wants to understand “DON’T MOVE YOUR HAND” need to look at this footage over and over again until it clicks. It is well explained in detail.
2.22 ” Orientation, on the outside it looks like the same, but where you start is very important. The hand never moves. So that the energy on the hand comes from somewhere, because of that, when I touch your hand, there is no energy going into your hand, always coming outwards…………..
3.26 ” Movement is energy, so if you move your hand this is energy. Energy has to go somewhere. Where will it go? It goes to a place where there is no movement. If your hand had no movement and you move your body, the energy created came to your hand, your hand became very strong….
PS Xie xie, Wilkin, for making it possible for me to watch this clip.

A great quotation in the video, “Mat Beausoleil Yilu Dec. 1, 2010 in Edmontin, Canada”:
“You can understand more. I always tell you the same thing.” Chen Zhonghua

This “Dont Step” clip is very helpful. When I watched it, something clicked for me. The correction about the waist and the catch-up step reminded me of a similiar move in the form … “six sealings and four closings”. For a long time I have been struggling with the transition step in six sealings and four closings. Watching this clip about the waist rotation has enabled me to step forward (in “six sealings and four closings”) with the left foot and keep the right shoulder and kua in the same place. I was not able to do that before!
Thanks for publishing these clips Master Chen!
